We are excited to share our vineyard with you. Before you start, a warning:
Prepare to fall in love with this incredibly special piece of property.
Please check in with our concierge / tasting room prior to starting your hike. This enables us to keep track of you should you be delayed on your tour.
When you are done with your hike, return to the concierge who will direct you to your reserved table for your final wine pour.
The David Hill Estate is comprised of 140 acres - 40 are planted in grapevines. David Hill (location) is named for the Frederick David Family that once lived in the Forest Grove area. This hilly area was originally known as David’s Hill and prior to that, Wine Hill.
Our vines are carefully and strategically pruned for appropriate growth and canopy cover. As you enjoy your hike, join us in practicing responsible stewardship of this circa 1883 farm. Appreciate the vines, leaves, and tendrils by allowing them to do their work. Stay on the marked trail and leave no trace. We are trusting you with our livelihood.
As you hike, keep an eye out for honeybees, possibly from our Apian Nests. While grapevines do not require honeybees for pollination, we keep bees on the property to contribute to the health of the local corridor.
Please take pictures of your hike and share them on our social media pages. We enjoy seeing the property through your eyes. Use the quick links in the SHARE tab. Before you leave for the day, enjoy the view from the lookout above the property on David Hill Road. It is a great spot to appreciate our elevation and capture a picture of our iconic farmhouse with the valley below.
*Honeybees are distinctly different from Yellow Jackets or Hornets. We foster honeybees, not the other two.
